City unveils 3D piano crosswalk in front of Stadium Theater in Woonsocket

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The city of Woonsocket has unveiled a new crosswalk in front of the Stadium Theater on Monument Square.

In a Facebook post, the city’s page wrote that the news 3D piano crosswalk was the first of a few Theatre District improvements slated to break ground this summer and fall.

“Through these improvements, not only will the city be able to better attract new investment and businesses into the downtown, but also enhance visitor experience and improve resident quality of life,” said the post.

The Stadium Theater, one of the most historical venues in Rhode Island, has been bringing performances to the city since 1926.
