Wrentham Police warn of new phone scam

Wrentham Police are now warning residents of a new phone scam.
Police say people are getting phone calls from scam artists posing as fundraisers claiming to be members of the Wrentham Police Association or Department.
If you are contacted by anyone asking for money for the Wrentham Police, you are asked to contact police and let them know if you saw a number on Caller ID.
The Wrentham Police Association and Department say they are not conducting any fundraisers.
You are asked to call Wrentham Police if you have been a victim or have any information.
