Yarmouth police arrest man connected to burglary

YARMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE)- The Yarmouth Police Department arrested a man on Friday as part of an investigation of a burglary that happened earlier in the week.

At about 5 p.m. on Friday, police executed a search warrant at the apartment of 24-year-old Ryan Evans.

Evans was arrested by police and taken into custody. He was charged with burglary and assault on an occupant, assault and battery, assault to rape a child, and destruction of property.

Evans was held on a $25,000 cash bail.
