PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) –  Join ABC6 for information on some notable events happening in the Rhode Island and Bristol County areas, today.

  • The New Bedford Superintendent Thomas Anderson is discussing the challenges of the upcoming school year live on Facebook at 11:00 AM.
  • Starting at 1:00 PM, Project Hand Up will be holding a ‘Stuff the Bus’ event, collecting supplies for local schools. The event goes until the end of August.
  • Finally, the council on elementary education is meeting to discuss reopening the schools, as well as k-12 education models for the coming year.
