PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – Join ABC6 for information on some notable events happening in the Rhode Island and Bristol County areas, today.
- The North Burial Ground is representing Rhode Island in a 48 state in 48 days tour of cleaning and restoring gravestones and burial grounds. If you’re interested in helping, they’d love to have you.
- Staying with the green theme, The Conimicut Village Association is leading a shoreline cleanup event at the Salter Grove Memorial Park. Volunteers must be 18 and over. You’re asked to bring a picnic dinner to enjoy once the work is done.
- There’s a good night lights remembrance display at 8:00 PM for Blake Costa, a boy who passed away due to cancer earlier this year. You can show your support and take part in the display for the kids at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
