PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) –  Join ABC6 for information on some notable events happening in the Rhode Island and Bristol County areas, today.

  • The Exeter Board of Canvassers is meeting at 9:00 AM to prepare for the fire district’s annual financial meeting next month. They are also working on confirming polling locations for the fall elections.
  • Leaders at RISE Prep Mayoral Academy in Woonsocket are meeting this morning to examine the fiscal impact of coronavirus on the school.
  • At 5:00 PM, the Rhode Island Council on Elementary and Secondary Education will be getting on update on reopening schools.  July 17 was the deadline to submit their plans.
