PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – Join ABC6 for information on some notable events happening in the Rhode Island and Bristol County areas, today.
- For seniors, a way to improve your strength, balance, and bone density with the “Bone Builders” workout program. It’s at the Mathieu Senior center in Pawtucket and starts at 9:30 AM.
- Songs, dances, and lots of laughs with the Summer Special puppet show. It’s hosted by Rock-A-Baby puppets. If you type in your child’s name during the live broadcast the puppets will give them a shout-out. You can watch the live Facebook broadcast at 11:00 AM.
- Celebrate Cape Verdean Independence with a flag-raising at city hall in East Providence. Those attending are asked to wear a mask. This starts at 11:30 AM.
