PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – Join ABC6 for information on some notable events happening in the Rhode Island and Bristol County areas, today.

• The Button Wood Park Zoo is hosting a virtual encounter with a Red Panda on Zoom at 11:00 AM, where you will be able to ask questions of its keeper. The chat is open to 30 families.
• The RISD Museum is holding an “Accidental Homeschool Teacher Happy Hour”. Care-givers-turned teachers can speak with artist-educators about the Museum’s collection, kids’ books, and hands-on techniques. That starts at 4:00 in the afternoon.
• The city of Taunton is handing out 3,000 masks today from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Anyone who needs a mask can get one for themselves and their families.
