‘You’re boring me,’ Conjuring House owner’s interaction with police caught on bodycam

BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WLNE) — The owner of The Conjuring House was arrested Monday night after allegedly driving under the influence and fleeing a traffic stop.

61-year-old Jacqueline Nunez took police on a chase after she allegedly failed to pull over on Hill Road, and eventually stopped on Wallum Lake Road.

Police said Nunez had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath with visibly bloodshot eyes.

Nunez had some choice words for officers, saying she “had a couple of drinks” and adding they “have to find a lot more things to pay attention to.”

Nunez showed particular apathy for field sobriety tests, telling an officer he was “boring” her.

The entire interaction was caught on police bodycam video.

After attempting multiple tests and refusing to do another, she was placed under arrest.

Nunez is charged with driving under the influence of liquor, evading an officer, and refusing to submit to a chemical test.

She was arraigned Tuesday and is scheduled to reappear in court on Nov. 7.
