NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) – The Zeiterion Peroforming Arts Center in New Bedford has announced that starting Wednesday, all patrons above age 12 are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or provide proof of a negative test, to attend performances.

If you are unvaccinated, the venue will require proof of a negative PCR test within 72 hours, or a negative antigen test 24 hours, prior to a performance.

That information, as well as a photo ID, will be required before entering the venue.

Additionally, the theater will require masks to be worn at all times, except when eating or drinking, regardless of vaccination status.

The Zeiterion has also changed its ticket exchange policy “in recognition of the many uncertainties due to the pandemic.” All tickets can now be exchanged for another performance within the season.

The vaccination and testing requirement also applies to all house staff, event personnel, and volunteers.
