Portsmouth man accused of soliciting explicit photos from girl voluntarily gives up social worker license

A Portsmouth man accused of soliciting explicit photos from a teenager last month has voluntarily given up his clinical social worker license.

Police said Steven Peterson, 26, asked for an explicit photo from a 15-year-old girl.

Peterson is the executive director of a suicide prevention nonprofit called “Be Great for Nate.”
