NCAA Tournament Hero Doug Edert Commits to Bryant

Former St. Peter’s guard Doug Edert has committed to transfer to Bryant University, ABC6 has confirmed.

Edert became a folk hero during the 2022 NCAA tournament, helping the Peacocks on their cinderella run from a 15-seed to the Elite Eight.

The rising senior scored 20 points in a first round upset of Kentucky. He scored double-digit points in five of his final six games last season.

He scored 16 points in a non-conference game against Providence at the Dunkin Donuts Center in 2021.
