After Position Change, Injuries, La Salle Alum Avien Peah Heads Into NFL Draft

It’s been quite the journey for Providence native Avien Peah.

The La Salle Academy alum played tight end during his first two years at Umass.

After multiple injuries, he switched positions to defensive end. It was on defense he felt back at home.

Peah spent six years with the Minutemen, and now has the chance to be picked in this year’s NFL Draft, which airs on ABC6 this weekend.
