North Kingstown police search for missing girl

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI (WLNE) — North Kingstown police asking for the community’s help finding a missing 12-year-old girl who left her home Wednesday afternoon.

Police said Mia last seen around 3:30 p.m. leaving her home on Iron Horse Terrace and has not been heard from since. Her bike was found in the 900 block of Stony Lane.

Police described Mia as 5 feet tall, 120 pounds, short brown hair, brown eyes with glasses, and was wearing a purple hoodie with dark gray pants with a white stripe.

A witness told police they saw a person at about 4:45 p.m. matching Mia’s description walking in the area of Devils Food Road at School Street.
