East Providence police identify Pawtucket man killed in crash

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — East Providence police identified the man who was killed in a serious crash at the intersection of Pawtucket and Caitlin avenues Friday night.
Capt. Michael Rapoza said that officers responded to the area around 8 p.m. and found a Subaru in the roadway and a Nissan in the front lawn of a house.
Rapoza added that all three people involved in the crash were transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
Jacob Crenshaw, 24, of Pawtucket, was a passenger in the Nissan and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Andrew Crenshaw, 27, Jacob’s brother, sustained serious injuries and was in critical condition.
The driver of the Subaru, a 22-year-old Providence resident, was stable.
Rapoza said that the department is investigating the crash, and that speed appeared to be a factor, according to witness reports.
