Teen killed after being struck by train in Bourne
BOURNE, Mass. (WLNE) — A teenager is dead after they were struck by a train in Bourne, Massachusetts Monday night.
According to the Bourne Police Department, at approximately 7:13 p.m., they were dispatched to the area of Perry Avenue and Aptucxet Road for a reported crash involving a train striking a person.
When first responders arrived on the scene, they said they found an 18-year-old person from Bourn who had died from their injuries.
The incident remains under investigation by the Cape and Island District Attorney’s Office and MBTA Police.
No further information was released.
