URI Men’s & Women’s Basketball Programs Hold Media Day Wednesday

The URI men’s & women’s basketball programs holding Media Day at the Ryan Center Wednesday.

The players going through photo & video sessions inside the new Soloviev Basketball Practice Facility before meeting with the local press.

For the men, redshirt sophomore guard Brandon Weston saying the team is quickly coming together & hopes to show it’s a tough-minded group this season.

The women’s team returns players like Sophie Phillips as it looks to defend its Atlantic 10 Regular Season Championship from last winter.
