Bryant’s Eckhaus Named Big South/OVC Offensive Player of the Week

BRENTWOOD, TENN. – Zevi Eckhaus of the Bryant University football team was named the Big-South OVC Offensive Player of the Week by the organization on Monday morning.

Eckhaus led the Bulldogs offense to a conference-opening 43-24 win against Robert Morris. He tallied 283 yards (22-36) and three TDs through the air, gaining 86 yards on the ground and a rushing TD.

Eckhaus now has 1,295 yards this season, which ranks third in the conference. He has also cemented himself in the Bryant record books. He is the all-time leader in total offense with 7,579 yards and is tied for 2nd in passing TDs (56).
