WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE): A landlord, accused of attacking his tenants who were late on their rent was arrested a second time, due to a separate incident, according to the Warwick Police Department.

Frank Marr, 65, was charged with disorderly conduct and arrested on Saturday.

Marr was arraigned by a bail commissioner and released on $2,000 surely bail, according to the police department.

ABC6 News first reported that Marr was arrested after his tenants, Larry and Cassandra Adekey captured Marr on camera, saying he destroyed their home and threatened to kill them. He was charged with disorderly conduct and simple assault, both misdemeanors.

Marr then spoke to ABC6 news sharing his side, claiming he was attacked first and had been told by other tenants that Adekey had no plans to pay his rent.

The Warwick Police Department said this recent arrest was not linked to Adekeye. The Department is still working on the police report before releasing any further information.

The court date for both cases is set for September 3rd.
