Bryant’s Earl Timberlake Named America East Player of the Week
Bryant University men’s basketball senior Earl Timberlake was named the America East Player of the Week on Monday.
Timberlake picks up the honor after averaging 13.5 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 5.0 apg and 2.5 bpg in a 1-1 week for the Bulldogs.
The Washington, D.C. native opened the week with 12 points, five rebounds, four assists and three blocks at Cincinnati. Timberlake followed that up with 15 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two blocks in a win over Towson.
Timberlake is now averaging 12.4 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 4.2 apg, 1.6 bpg and 1.2 spg this season.
Bryant is back in action Friday (Dec. 22) when it hosts Drexel for its annual kids game at 11:00 am.
