Report: Celtics Likely To Offer Jayson Tatum a Max Contract

The Boston Celtics will likely offer Jayson Tatum a maximum contract this upcoming offseason, according to a report by Brian Windhorst.

Because the Coronavirus outbreak is costing the NBA money, the salary cap will likely be lowered, which means the max contract may also not be worth what it once was.

Tatum is due to make about $10 million during the 2020-2021 season.
