College Baseball Returns With First NCBL Games In Newport
Baseball was back locally Friday with the first two games of the Newport Collegiate Baseball League season.
The newly-formed four-team league providing local college players the chance to get onto the field this summer at Cardines Field.
In the first game, NCBL Orange defeated NCBL Blue, 4-2.
In the second game, NCBL White defeated NCBL Black, 5-2.
