East Greenwich Native, PC Freshman Brett Berard Drafted by Rangers

East Greenwich’s Brett Berard was drafted by the New York Rangers in the fifth round of the 2020 NHL Draft.

Berard is a freshman at Providence College and will play his first year with the Friars this season.

He’s been a part of the US National Development Program, playing for the Under-18 team
