Cam Newton Activated off COVID-19 Reserve List

Patriots quarterback Cam Newton has passed the NFL’s COVID-19 protocols. The team activated him from the COVID-19 Reserve List Wednesday.

This means that Newton will likely return to practice Thursday and play Sunday against the Denver Broncos.

Stephon Gilmore will reportedly be activated off the reserve list Thursday and practice as well.

Both players tested positive for the virus last week, leading to New England’s game against Denver to be delayed a week.
