Richard Barron Earns Big East All-Freshman Honors

Barron, who was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week on January 22, became the first Friar to earn BIG EAST All-Freshman accolades since Nate Watson in 2018. He is the team’s top three-point shooter. At 43.2 percent, Barron has connected on 32 of his 74 attempts from behind the arc. He has started seven of the 30 games he played. Barron is averaging 4.3 points per game. He scored a career-high 14 points versus Sacred Heart on December 16.
