PC’s Devin Carter named Big East Player of the Year

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence College guard Devin Carter has been named Big East Player of the Year, the conference announced Wednesday.

Carter was a unanimous first team all-conference selection by the coaches and was named to the first team by the Associated Press.

The junior led the league in scoring with over 21 points per game.

PC plays Georgetown in the first round of the Big East tournament Wednesday Night at 6:30 p.m.
