Big Brothers Big Sisters hosts Matches of the Year celebration

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Wednesday was a big night for Big Brothers Big Sisters Rhode Island.

The nonprofit hosted its Matches of the Year celebration with red carpet and all.

Three mentors and mentee pairs were honored for their outstanding dedication.

Besides walking the red carpet, attendees were treated to movie theatre popcorn, games, and more.

The special event also aimed to get more volunteers involved, as more than 250 male mentors are needed right now to help mentees in the Ocean State.
