Bryant Baseball Heads Into America East Tournament as Top Seed
The 2024 America East Regular Season Champion Bryant baseball team will serve as the No. 1 seed at the 2024 America East Baseball Championships May 22-25 in Vestal, N.Y.
The six-team tournament begins with a pair of single-elimination games on Wednesday at the Bearcats Baseball Complex on the campus of Binghamton University. Wednesday’s winners advance into the four-team double-elimination portion of the tournament that begins Thursday.

By being the top seed, the Bulldogs have secured one of two byes into the double-elimination portion of the tournament. UMBC will serve as the No. 2 seed and has earned the second bye.
Bryant claimed its first and the University’s first America East Regular Season title thanks to a 17-7 record. The Black and Gold went 10-2 at home and 7-5 on the road, finishing three games ahead of second-place UMBC. Bryant started league play with a pair of walk-off victories over Maine on the first day of the conference season. The Bulldogs went on to sweep UMBC, UAlbany and Binghamton, and claimed a thrilling series victory over UMass Lowell to start 13-2. Bryant then played each of its final nine league games on the road, going 4-5 in that stretch.
The Black and Gold will serve as the No. 1 seed in a conference tournament for the ninth time in DI program history. Bryant served as the No. 1 seed in the Northeast Conference tournament for eight straight years from 2013-2021.
