FEMA Disaster Recovery Center opens in Attleboro

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced Tuesday that a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) has opened in Attleboro.
FEMA said the DRC will be located at Bristol Community College on Willard Road and be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
According to officials, the center is in place to help survivors from the severe storms and flooding that took place from Sept. 11-13, 2023.
Disaster assistance specialists at the center can help residents apply for FEMA Individual Assistance and upload documents needed for their application.
FEMA added that those affected by the disaster do not have to visit a DRC to apply for assistance.
Officials said other options for registration include online, by phone (1-800-621-3362), or through FEMA’s Mobile App.
