Kwity Paye’s Jersey Retired by Bishop Hendricken
Bishop Hendricken High School will welcome Kwity Paye ’17 back to campus for a special jersey retirement ceremony on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 1:45pm in Pepin Gymnasium.
Paye will deliver remarks to the student body as part of the ceremony. Keith Croft ’95, Varsity Football Head Coach, and Earl “Buddy” Croft ’70 will provide remarks. Jamal Gomes ’91, Athletic Director, will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
“We are blessed to count Kwity as one of Bishop Hendricken’s alumni not because he is a standout football player, but because he is a stellar young man whose character and compassion for others is unmatched,” said Fr. Robert L. Marciano, KHS ’75, President. “This jersey retirement is a testament to his hard work in providing a better life for his family.”
Paye will return to Bishop Hendricken following his third year with the Indianapolis Colts. This spring, the organization exercised Paye’s fifth-year option, keeping him under contract with team through the 2025 season. Paye was drafted 21st overall in the 2021 NFL Draft following a standout career at the University of Michigan.
