PC’s Nick Poisson Named Hockey East Rookie of the Week

Providence College freshman forward Nick Poisson (Vancouver, B.C.) was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week on Monday (Feb. 15).

Poisson recorded two assists in the Friars’ lone game over the weekend, a 4-0 shutout of UConn on Friday night at Schneider Arena. Poisson has recorded four goals and six assists in 18 games this season, with five points coming over the previous three games.
