Cumberland Native Tyler Kolek Hears From Providence, Other Power Conference Schools

Cumberland native and George Mason transfer Tyler Kolek has heard from the Providence College basketball program about a potential move to the Friars, ABC6 has learned.

The Saint George’s product has also heard from Boston College, Butler, Davidson, East Carolina, Loyola Chicago, Notre Dame, Richmond, Saint Mary’s, Stanford, TCU, UConn, Vanderbilt, and Wofford.

Kolek put his name into the NCAA transfer portal after Mason fired head coach Dave Paulsen.

The Patriots hired Tennessee assistant Kim English as their head coach Tuesday.
