Reports: PC’s Hopkins, Fernandez To Enter Transfer Portal, Abdur-Rahim To Apply For Medical Hardship Waiver

A few reports out Wednesday surrounding PC men’s basketball & the future for its roster.

Bryce Hopkins reportedly will enter the transfer portal when it opens Monday. The All-BIG EAST star playing in just three games working his way back from a knee injury this winter.

Justyn Fernandez will also reportedly enter the transfer portal. Fernandez playing in spurts during the 2024-2025 season after also returning from a knee injury last year.

Jabri Abdur-Rahim will reportedly be seeking a medical hardship waiver for another year of eligibility. A report by Joe Tipton on On3 Sports says Abdur-Rahim will center the waiver around mental health after the Georgia transfer dealt with the loss of his uncle, Amir Abdur-Rahim, during the 2024-2025 season.
