In addition to the third-seeded Rams (38-20), the Baton Rouge Regional will include the SEC’s LSU, Little Rock from the Ohio Valley Conference and Dallas Baptist out of Conference USA. LSU – the No. 6 overall seed – is the site host. The Rams will open NCAA Tournament play Dallas Baptist in its opening game on Friday, May 30 at 7:30 p.m. The game will air on ESPN+.

The regional is a double-elimination bracket. The winner of the Baton Rouge Regional will face the winner of the Clemson Regional in a best-of-three Super Regional. The Clemson Regional includes No. 11 seed Clemson, SC Upstate, Kentucky and West Virginia. The Super Regional will be held from Friday, June 6 through Monday, June 9. The winner of the Super Regional advances to the College Baseball World Series, which is held in Omaha from June 12 through June 23.

Rhody earned the Atlantic 10’s automatic bid to the tournament, winning its third league title in program history on Saturday afternoon at Capital One Park in Tysons, Va.
