Closing arguments delivered in murder trial of Christopher Heron

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) – Closing arguments are underway at Fall River Superior Court in the murder trial of Christopher Heron.

Heron is one of two Rehoboth men indicted in the murder of 66-year-old Joseph Housley.

The other person charged is Joseph Housley, Jr., the victim’s son.

The murder happened on July 6, 2021 at the Greenbrier Village Apartments on Forsythe Circle in Seekonk.

Housley was shot and killed.

Housley, Jr.’s trial is set to begin in September.
