School supplies gathered for families in Cranston

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Dozens turned out in Cranston on Sept. 6 to help ensure students go back to school with everything they need.

Nonprofit Cranston Cares held an event at Itri Park asking for donations of school supplies.

The event featured a bounce house, food, and a fashion show, and thousands of supplies were dropped off by attendees.
