FALL RIVER, M.A. (WLNE) — The body of a female found on Saturday has been identified.
The Bristol County District Attorney’s office said the body, found in a marshy area near a former Sam’s Club, was positively identified as 27-year-old Elizabeth Simon, who had been reported missing in September 2017.
“The cause and manner of Ms. Simon’s death has yet to be determined by the medical examiner, and the investigation into her death remains active and ongoing,” said Bristol County District Attorney spokesman Gregg Miliote.
No further information is available at this time.
