Jones Earning Respect of Veteran Teammates, Judon Brings Energy To Patriots Defense

With Cam Newton sidelined from Patriots practice again Tuesday, rookie Mac Jones took the majority of competitive reps in practice at quarterback.

The first round pick is already earning the respect of teammates, young & veteran, like special teams ace Matthew Slater.

On the defensive side of the ball, newcomer Matthew Judon continues to bring energy to the unit, going back & forth with the rookie QB during practice Tuesday.

Also Tuesday, cornerback Myles Bryant and tight end Hunter Henry wore red non-contact jerseys during the session as they rehab injuries.
