Big Brothers Big Sisters Rhode Island looking for volunteers

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — “We all have something to bring to the table.”

Those are the thoughts of a Big Brothers Big Sisters Rhode Island volunteer.

Right now, the group is looking for hundreds of volunteers to meet the demands of youth in Rhode Island who have been accepted into the program, but placed on a waiting list because not enough adults are stepping forward.

There are dozens of exciting events for everyone, no matter their likes, from taking in a musical to sitting courtside at a Bruins or Celtics game, skiing, hiking, and doing arts and crafts.

Those are some of the opportunities available, for free, for volunteers and their mentors.
