Brad Marchand Calls Round Robin “Preseason”, Doesn’t Think Struggles are Telling
The Boston Bruins aren’t putting much stock in their performance in the NHL’s seeding round. The regular-season Presidents’ Trophy winners went 0-3 in the playoff tuneup. Players say that those games don’t matter. Brad Marchand called them “preseason” games. Goalie Tuukka Rask says they were just a chance to “shake the rust off.” But they dropped Boston to the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference and a matchup with the Carolina Hurricanes.
