Brown Football Holds Annual “Bench Press For Cancer” Monday

Brown Football coming together on the Main Green on campus Monday to hold its annual “Bench Press For Cancer.”

Led by coach Paul Frisone, the event started 19 years ago to help former Bears captain Lawrence Rubida in his battle with Ewing’s Sarcoma.

The event has since been in honor of his memory, raising money for the Miriam Hospital’s Cancer Survivorship Program.

This year, the program raising over $7000 with the event.
