Brown Football Working To Replace EJ Perry at Quarterback

The Ivy League released its preseason football poll for the upcoming 2022 season on Monday afternoon. Brown was picked seventh in the poll, which was voted upon by 16 media members, two representing each institution.

Harvard and Dartmouth tied for first as the preseason league favorites with 108 points apiece, with the Crimson receiving a league-leading eight first place votes. Dartmouth and Princeton both received four first place votes to rank second and third, respectively, while Yale rounded out the top half of the league in fourth. Columbia (67), Penn (49), Brown (29) and Cornell (27) rounded out the final four teams.

Brown will kick off its 2022 season with a pair of home games at Richard Gouse Field at Brown Stadium starting with the September 17 season-opener against Bryant, before welcoming preseason favorite Harvard on September 24. For tickets, visit BrownBears.com/tickets.

The Bears return four of their six All-Ivy performers from last season, and landed five seniors on the 2022 Phil Steele Preseason All-Ivy League team in Wes Rockett (WR), Allen Smith (RB/KR), Hayes Sutton (WR), Camden Gagnon (DL) and Junior Gafa (LB).
