Brown Hoping to Improve in Rivalry Matchup with Bryant

Brown men’s basketball (2-6) welcomes in-state rival Bryant (4-4) to the Pizzitola Sports Center on Friday, December 1 for a 7 p.m. tip. The contest will be Faculty/Staff Appreciation and Ugly Sweater Night in the Pizz, and fans are encouraged to wear ugly sweaters.

We mentioned Tyler’s Tales in the notes and in opening the vault, we noted Brown hosted Bryant in the first-ever game inside the Pizzitola Sports Center. Opening in 1989, the Bears defeated the Bulldogs (76-52).

Last season, Brown jumped out to a 20-point lead and defeated the Bulldogs in Smithfield 72-60.
