Brown QB E.J. Perry Named To Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America Third Team

Brown senior EJ Perry has been named to the Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-American Football Team, earning Third Team honors as a quarterback. Perry, who led the nation in total offense in 2019, is one of three Ivy League players to earn All-American recognition by Stats Perform.
Perry set an Ivy League record for total offense in 2019 and was a finalist for the Asa S. Bushnell Cup presented to the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year.
Perry earned First Team All-Ivy and All-New England honors after his record-setting inaugural season at Brown. He led the nation with 367.8 yards per game of total offense and shattering the Ivy League single season record for total offense with 3,678 total yards, eclipsing the previous Ivy League record of 3,553 yards by Princeton’s Chad Kanoff in 2017.
His 2,948 passing yards rank fifth all-time at Brown and 15th in Ivy League history and his 251 completions rank sixth all-time at Brown, 12th in the conference record book, and 10th for a Brown career.
Perry had three games that ranked in the top 10 in Brown history in total offense: 512 total yards vs. Rhode Island (2nd , 5th in Ivy history), 471 total yards vs. Yale (4th, 17th Ivy) and 463 total yards vs. Cornell (7th,22nd Ivy). His 94-yard touchdown run vs. Bryant was the longest run in the Ivy League this season and 10th longest in Ivy football history.
A Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations concentrator at Brown, Perry also set a new Brown record with 560 plays in 2019, while his 22 touchdown passes rank 18th in the Ivy record book.
