Brown’s Kino Lilly Jr. Named Ivy League Player of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – After breaking the program record for most career three-pointers made at the College Hill Classic this weekend, senior Kino Lilly Jr. of the Brown men’s basketball team was named Ivy League Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
In three games at the College Hill Classic this weekend, Lilly Jr. averaged 23.3 points and 4.3 assists per game on 48.3 percent shooting from three-point range.
Lilly Jr. became the program leader in three-pointers made on Saturday against Holy Cross (Nov. 16), with 4:47 remaining in the second half, Lilly Jr. hit his 258th career triple, passing previous leader JR Hobbie (257).
Through five games this season, Lilly Jr. is averaging 21.2 points and 3.6 assists per game. The senior is shooting 45.3 percent from the floor and 46.2 percent from beyond the arc.
This is Lilly Jr’s. second-ever Ivy League Player of the Week honor, the senior earned Ivy League Offensive Player back on Jan. 17, 2023.
Brown will be back in action on Saturday, Nov. 23 when they travel to Buffalo, N.Y. to take on Canisius, tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on ESPN+.
