Brown’s Kyla Jones Named First Team All Ivy League
Following their standout performances throughout the 2023-24 season, Brown senior guard Kyla Jones and sophomore guard Grace Arnolie have both earned All-Ivy League honors, the league announced on Tuesday. Jones was named to the First Team, while Arnolie earned Honorable Mention accolades.
For Jones it is the first All-Ivy honor of her career, while Arnolie earns Honorable Mention for the second straight season.
In addition, for her work in the classroom, Jones was also selected as Brown’s Academic All-Ivy recipient. She is set to graduate this May with a bachelor’s degree in social analysis and research.

Jones rounded out her senior season with a career-year, setting new career-highs in points per game (17.1), rebounds per game (4.7), assists (74), blocks (10), steals (42) and minutes (34.7). Her 17.1 points per contest ranked third in the Ivy League and her field goal percentage of .457 ranked eighth. She also ranked in the top 10 in the league in assists per game (10th/2.8) and steals per game (7th/1.6).
Jones became the 23rd member of the 1,000 point club on February 17 against Penn when she scored 22 points, including the game-winning bucket with 1.5 seconds left. She had two 30-point performances against Columbia (30 points) on March 1 and at Monmouth (career-high 34) on November 26 and had nine games with at least 20 points this season. She finishes her Brown career with 1,097 career points and averaging 15.5 points per game, good for sixth in program history.
Arnolie ranked second on the team in scoring at 14.4 points per game and third in rebounding at 4.2 rebounds per contest, while ranking fifth in the Ivy League with 1.8 steals per game. She tied for sixth in the league with 3.3 assists per game and was second in both three-point percentage (.320) and three-pointers made per game (2.4).
She scored at least 24 points in a game on four occasions, including a pair of career-high 25-point efforts against Cornell on January 20 and March 2, which proved to be critical as Brown won both games by an average of 10 points.
Brown finished the 2023-24 regular season 16-11 overall and in a tie for fourth in the Ivy League standings at 7-7. The 16 overall wins and seven league victories are the most since the 2016-17 season.
