Bryant Men’s Basketball Releases 2025-2026 Non-Conference Schedule

Bryant University Press Release

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Highlighted by three games against power 4 schools, including a trip to six-time National Champion UConn, Bryant men’s basketball announced its 2025-26 non-conference schedule on Tuesday afternoon.

Bryant is coming off one of the best seasons in program history in 2024-25 as the Bulldogs won America East Regular Season and Tournament titles and competed in the NCAA Tournament for the second time in four seasons. In 2025-26, the Black and Gold will embark on their first season under the direction of head coach Jamion Christian, who was named the 10th head coach in program history on April 3.

Schedule Highlights

  • Bryant will open its season on the road for the first time since the 2020-21 season when it travels to Siena on Monday, November 3.
  • The Bulldogs will play three games against power 5 schools beginning with a November 7 matchup at Georgia Tech.
  • Bryant will raise its 2024-25 America East Championship banner on November 12 as it hosts Dartmouth in the home opener at the Chace.
  • The Black and Gold will face six-time National Champion UConn on Sunday, November 23 in Storrs.
  • In addition to Dartmouth, Bryant’s non-conference home schedule will also include Mercy University (D2), Stonehill, Marist and Worcester State (D3).

Bryant begins the 2025-26 season at Siena (Nov. 3) before making the trip to Atlanta to face Georgia Tech (Nov. 7). The season opener at Siena will be coach Christian’s return to Albany where he coached the Saints in 2018-19 season. It’s also a rematch of an overtime battle between the two teams last season, won by the Saints at the Chace. Bryant will be facing Georgia Tech for the first time in program history.

The Bulldogs return to the Chace Athletic Center on November 12 when they host Dartmouth. Bryant will celebrate the 2024-25 America East Championship with a banner raising on opening night.

The home opener will serve as a quick respite as the Black and Gold will hit the road for three games in eight days. It begins with a trip to nine-time NCAA Tournament qualifier Valporaiso (Nov. 15) and continues at ACC member Virginia Tech (Nov. 19). The trip concludes on November 23 as Bryant will make the short trip to Storrs to face UConn. Bryant and UConn last met in the 2014-15 season opener, a game the Bulldogs led by nine early in the second half before falling 66-53.

Bryant will spend Feast Week in New England as it will host DII Mercy University on Wednesday, November 26 before taking on Harvard in Cambridge on Saturday, November 29.

The Bulldogs open December at home against Stonehill, marking the Skyhawks’ first visit to Smithfield since December 12, 2007. Bryant will then face in-state rival Brown on the road December 5. The Bulldogs will be looking for a bit of revenge in both meetings following a pair of one-point losses to both Stonehill and Brown last season. The road team has won each of the last five meetings in the series between Bryant and Brown.

Bryant closes the non-conference schedule with a trip to Iona on December 10, a home game with Marist on December 13, a road contest at High Point (Dec. 22) and a home game vs DIII Worcester State on Dec. 28. High Point has gone 56-15 the last two seasons and appeared in the NCAA Tournament for the first time as a Division I program in 2025.
