Bryant’s Earl Timberlake Named America East Player of the Week

Bryant University fifth-year guard, Earl TImberlake was named America East Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday morning. Timberlake had an outstanding all-around week in two wins averaging 17.5 points on 72% shooting, 13.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists & 4.0 blocks per game.

On Thursday night at UAlbany Timberlake would post a near triple double with 21 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. He would also showcase dominance on the defensive end; racking up four blocks.

On Saturday afternoon against UMass Lowell, Timberlake would tally his sixth double-double of the season with 14 points and a career high 18 rebounds. That mark ties Timberlake for the third most rebounds in a game in Bryant’s Division I program history (Dan Garvin and Alex Francis). He would tally another four rejections against the Riverhawks along with five assists and two steals.
