Celtics Select VCU’s Max Shulga at #57 Overall in 2025 NBA Draft

With their second selection in the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft, the Celtics taking VCU’s Max Shulga.

The guard is a familiar face locally after playing against URI in the Atlantic 10 this past winter.

Shulga scoring 15 points & adding seven rebounds in an 81-57 victory for the Rams in Kingston in January.

He earned A-10 Player of the Year by the end of the season & led VCU to the league title.

Shulga shooting over 40% from three-point range in his two seasons with the Rams.
