Christopher Heron to be sentenced in 2021 murder of 66-year-old Seekonk man

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Today the man found guilty in a 2021 murder in Seekonk is expected to be sentenced.

Christopher Heron is one of the two people charged in the death of 66-year-old Joseph Housley, Sr.

Housley was shot to death at an apartment on Forsythe Circle.

Heron and Housley’s son, Joseph Housley, Jr. were indicted by a grand jury more than a year later.

Heron was found guilty back in June.

His sentencing is expected this morning at Fall River Superior Court.

Housley’s son has a trial date later this month.
